Summary[]
Kaedo has been taken by the Harvesters. They keep him captive as they wait for him to die. However, he manages to take out several harvesters before making his escape, but he is met with General Khan and her army.
Monkey and Tripitaka wait for Sandy and Pigsy to join them, but they are under attack. Monkey catches an arrow fired in their direction. However, their attacker is merely a young boy named Chou. He takes them to the camp, where his family has been taken hostage by Dreglon, Moggoth, and the Blue Hand demon army. Monkey comes up with an idea for him and Tripitaka to disguise themselves as two farmers so that they can infiltrate the army. Tripitaka fears that something is wrong with the Scroll of Creation. It’s meant to be written in the ancient language, but it seems like Mycelia translated it. Tripitaka believes that the saw she summoned with the scroll was deliberately made to hurt her. However, Tripitaka needs boots if she’s to pass as a farmer, so Monkey encourages her to use the scroll to summon a pair.
Sandy and Pigsy find themselves surrounded by demons. Sandy herself pretends to be a demon — Lady Wrathbone of Hell’s Kitchen and Pigsy her cook slave. She orders Quiver and the other demons to bind Pigsy to a tree. She claims that she’s come to offer her services to Khan’s army. She explains to Pigsy that she wants to use them to find Monkey.
Dreglon is approached by Monkey and Tripitaka, posing as farmers who wish to join their army. They claim that they love Gorm. Dreglon questions why. They claim to hate Monkey King, who Gorm defeated. Chou, after being reunited with his family, vouches for them, referring to Monkey and Tripitaka as Norman and Tinkle.
Quiver asks Pigsy if he can cook him some pickled pig’s head stew with mushrooms like his mom used to make.
General Khan’s army and Dreglon’s army meet in a village. Monkey and Tripitaka spot Sandy and Pigsy. They are joined by Mothrax, who reveals that Kimura is dead. Last night, as they were waiting for Khan and Dreglon to arrive, they were sneak attacked by rebels lead by Monkey, Tripitaka, Sandy, and Pigsy, or so she claimed. Khan orders Quiver to set up camp as they prepare to go up against the rebellion.
Moggoth separates the villagers into pairs and orders them to fight to the death. However, Monkey and Tripitaka refuse. Dreglon demands for Monkey to kneel and orders Tripitaka to fight. He raises his axe to kill Monkey, who punches Dreglon and sends him flying several feel into the air. Khan intervenes after hearing their story and learning that their farm was attacked by the Monkey King. She demands that Tripitaka and Monkey are brought to her tent.
Quiver helps Sandy and Pigsy station their food cart. She sees Monkey and Tripitaka walk pass and wants to be stationed nearby Khan's tent.
Khan questions Monkey and Tripitaka regarding the circumstances of their encounter with the Monkey King. Satisfied with their help, she wants Tripitaka and Monkey to become her servants. However, Dreglon insists that Monkey and Tripitaka belong to him.
As Monkey and Tripitaka exit their tent, Sandy, under her ruse as Lady Wrathbone, demands that they help her and Pigsy serve gruel. Tripitaka takes off the boots she summoned with the scroll to see that both of her feet are infected.
Dreglon and Khan have come to an agreement. Monkey will fight Khan’s champion and prove the Blue Hand are real soldiers. But if he loses, the Hand will become servants for Khan’s Red Guard. Khan then takes a liking to Pigsy’s cooking and has her old cook thrown from a cliff. Should Pigsy fail to impress her, she’ll have him thrown from a cliff as well.
Tripitaka prepares Monkey for his fight and reminds him that he’s supposed to be a human. Moggoth introduces Monkey and then introduces the Red Guard’s fighter, Kaedo. Khan and Dreglon watch as they fight. Tripitaka tells Monkey to stay down but he continues to fight Kaedo.
Sandy returns Tripitaka’s boots. It spent four hours in a cook’s fire but they’re still perfectly good. The scroll may be a decoy, but it is powerful.
With Monkey refusing to stand down, Tripitaka performs Headache Sutra to force him down. And with that, the Red Guards take control of the Blue Hand.
