Mycelia was the Guardian of the Scroll of Creation, and a supporting character in the television series.

Early Life[]
Mycelia has spent the past 500 years guarding the Scroll of Creation.
Season 2[]
Graveyard of the Gods[]
Mycelia meets Monkey, Tripitaka, Sandy, and Pigsy in the Graveyard of the Gods. Pigsy arrives with the pepper bud flower. Mycelia tells him that he shouldn’t have picked a pepper bud flower. One has to pull it up by the roots. A mist-like substance leaves the flower, and the four of them suddenly start to sneeze before passing out.
Mycelia explains that the pepper bud is poisonous and medicinal depending on its use. She tells them that everything comes at a cost, such as the use of Sacred Scrolls. She then tells Monkey to stay put for seven hours while his hands grow back.
Mycelia shows Sandy and Pigsy how plants are fertilized. She then presents them with a seed, claiming that the plant that sprouts from it will one day save Pigsy's life before handing it over to Sandy.
Finding Paradise[]
Mycelia reconvenes with Monkey, Sandy, Tripitaka, and Pigsy in the garden. Pigsy is hurt. Fortunaetly, Mycelia can heal him. Tripitaka blames herself for Kaedo’s death and losing Monkey’s staff as well as the scrolls. Mycelia assures her that it’s not her fault and that it isn’t her responsibility to carry the weight of the world.
Pigsy awakens in the Graveyard of the Gods. Mycelia tells him that he has a choice to make. He can either lie down with the other gods and become part of the forest or go back to his quest. Pigsy has been alive 1500 years and no one has asked him what he wants to do. He awakens and Mycelia welcomes him to the first day of his life.
Mycelia confronts Monkey, Tripitaka, and Sandy as they find the Scroll of Creation. She refuses to willingly give them the scroll and calls her “children” to defend it. They discover her children are actually mushroom people/fungal creatures. With the death of each one, Mycelia feels heartache. As Monkey fights off the mushroom people, Sandy demands that Mycelia release the scroll as Tripitaka can’t seem to retrieve it from inside the tree. Tripitaka calls out to the Scroll of Creation and summons a saw to cut the scroll free, however, she hurts her hand in the process. In retrieving the scroll, Mycelia disappears.
Shadow Boxing[]
Upon discovering that they took a corrupted version of the Scroll of Creation, Monkey, Tripitaka, Pigsy, and Sandy come looking for the real scroll at Burnt Sands, where Mycelia has it hidden under a tree. Gaxin crawls inside but he can’t reach the scroll. Mycelia traps Gaxin inside and declares that the scroll belongs to her. For 500 years, she’s tended to her garden and refuses to allow them to take it. If she hands over the scroll then she will perish. While Pigsy helps Gaxin, Monkey, Tripitaka, and Sandy fight off the fungal creatures and Timothee.
Shadow Monkey arrives and Sandy warns her that he's a creation of the Shadow Scroll and that it’s her duty to stop him. Monkey tells Shadow Monkey to return to the shadows or else he’ll tear the scroll in half. Mycelia reveals that the only way to destroy the Shadow Scroll is to fly it into the sun. Monkey hands the Scroll of Immortality and Knowledge over to Tripitaka and flies away on his cloud. With the Shadow Scroll, Monkey flies into the sun and kills Shadow Monkey. Tripitaka pleads with Mycelia to give her the Scroll of Creation. Mycelia does so and dies.
Powers and Skills[]
- Mental Projection: Mycelia, like all other Guardians, had the power of Mental Projection.
- Chlorokinetic Creature Creation: Mycelia was able to create mushroom creatures that did her bidding and she was able to regenerate them even when they died.
- Replication: Mycelia was able to create a corrupted version of the Scroll of Creation
- Illusion Manipulation: Mycelia was able to create and manipulate illusions to make the group think they were in paradise
- Taphokinesis: Mycelia was able to rot all the plants in the garden when she got angry.
- Longevity: Mycelia can only die when the scroll she guards is taken.
- Plant Manipulation: Mycelia is able to control, create, and manipulate plants. She created vines around Gaxin when he tried to take the scroll of creation.
- Spell-Casting: Mycelia was able to cast a spell on a plant, having it redirect Sandy on where to go.
