Biography[]
Season 1[]
The Monkey King Returns[]
Raxion warns Davari that three gods are headed his way. He believes that they can help him translate the scroll. He orders Raxion to find them and take them to the shaman’s breaking ground.
The Breaking Ground[]
Raxion, master of the Guard, meets with the Shaman to inform him of three gods in the area. Raxion asks if he’s ready. The Shaman replies "Always."
Raxion and his men manage to capture Monkey, Sandy, and Pigsy, and take them to the Shaman, who takes a lock of hair from Monkey, Sandy, and Pigsy as they remain unconscious in the "Breaking Ground." He tells them that they will translate the sacred scrolls. He explains that a God’s mind is a magnificent creation. The only way to get them to do as they’re told is to make them think it’s their own idea. He decides to place them in a familiar place — Monica’s tavern.
Raxion and Shaman wonder why Monkey isn’t translating the scroll as the other two are. Shaman suspects that he needs to be pushed a little further.
Raxion and two of his men exit the invisible barrier. Raxion informs them that they have a delivery to Jade Mountain. He needs them to return with a cart by dusk. He then returns inside. Shaman is impressed by Monkey's will and strong mind. Raxion reminds him that they either need results or to dispose of Monkey. Shaman resorts to a stronger method to force Monkey to play. Frustrated, Raxion exits the barrier and throws his knife in a fit. While he’s distracted, Tripitaka sneaks inside.
Raxion and Shaman put several gods into a barrel with plans to send them to Jade Mountain. Raxion will be gone on the trip for two days, while Shaman stays behind to maintain the fantasy.
Raxion gets a message from the Shaman, which reveals the Breaking Ground’s been breached.
A Crown Does Not Make You King[]
Tripitaka tries to wake Monkey up but he remains asleep. She asks Raxion and Shaman to help, but it is out of their control. He warned Monkey not to go too deep. Before long, they called in more demon warriors.
Shaman informs Raxion that he can hear the monk speaking the ancient language despite the monk being human. Unlike gods, the human mind is much easier to exploit, so Shaman wants to use Tripitaka to translate the gods’ word.
The Monkey King awakens and defeats the warriors before escaping. Raxion and Shaman watch as Monkey, Tripitaka, Sandy, and Pigsy flee. However, they’ve found someone far more valuable than broken gods — a human who knows the language of the scrolls.
Until I Met You[]
Raxion and Shaman follow Monkey, Tripitaka, Sandy, and Pigsy into The Kin's territory. They are reluctant to continue to track them. Shaman instructs Raxion to speak to the Kin alone. Raxion fears that they will kill him the moment they lay eyes on him, but Shaman retorts that the Kin already know that they’re there.
Raxion goes to speak with the Kin. Spider Kin asks what he wants. Raxion is prepared to make them an offer — he’s willing to pay them for the safe return of the monk. They’re free to do with the gods as they see fit.
Spider Kin intentionally poisoned Tripitaka in order to charge Raxion for the antidote. Raxion pulls his mask off and demands that Spider Kin look at him when he's talking to him. Under his mask is a face so frightening that Raxion falls back.
Raxion tracks Tripitaka down and knocks Gwen out. With no means to defend herself, Tripitaka calls out to Monkey. Raxion grabs Tripitaka, but she fights him off and kicks him off a cliff. Raxion survived the fall from the cliff. In his hand, he holds Tripitaka’s necklace and the letter written inside.
A Part of You That's Missing[]
Raxion reads Tripitaka’s letter to Davari. Raxion volunteers to find them, but Davari has someone else in mind.
Raxion finds Monkey tied to a tree and takes him captive. Raxion has brought Monkey back to his camp. Ever since Monkey showed up, he’s suffered a cut in wages and a subsequent loss of status. Raxion reveals that his boss has a personal grudge against Monkey and was putting everything into his capture. Pigsy arrives, kills the demons, and interrogates Raxion for answers. He tells them that they’ll need him to make it to Jade Mountain and find out who has the sacred scrolls.
Raxion sneaks Monkey and Pigsy inside the palace on a cart. They exit the barrels to find the Font Demon escorting Tripitaka away.
In Search of Tripitaka[]
Raxion warns Monkey and Pigsy that Davari is getting closer to translating his scroll. Raxion reveals that Davari’s weakness is that he wants to be liked. So once a week, he goes out amongst his people. His route is pre-planned. They can attack then.
The following day, Davari shows Tripitaka around town. They are interrupted by Raxion. Unbeknownst to Davari, it's a set up, with Monkey and Pigsy not far away. Monkey fires an arrow, but misses, forcing him and Pigsy to flee. Davari sends his men off to hunt down Monkey and Pigsy and accuses Raxion of orchestrating the entire plan. Raxion blames Davari for his lack of loyalty. He never believed in him or treated him kindly. Raxion draws his sword to fight, but Davari kills him before he can finish his sentence.
